My name is Michael Daugherty and I am running for re-election of the Harrison Co. School Board. I am not a career politician. I am just a man trying to make a difference.  I have several family members in the Harrison County school system and I am a Criminal Justice Instructor at the United Technical Center, which means I care deeply about what happens within our school system and community because I am in the trenches with you. I am a husband, father, children's pastor and also a co-founder of We Take A Stand anti–bullying program that has received local, state, and national awards.  

The main reasons I am running for re-election is because I feel that there is more work to be done for the betterment of our school system and I want to do everything I can to continue the progress of our schools.  

MY FOCUS IS EDUCATION, MOTIVATION, SAFETY, AND RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER.
